Darjeeling tea has traditionally been prized above all other black teas. Grown high in the Himalayan foothills, at elevations of 4,000 to 7,000 feet, they are the best and most delicate of India teas. Darjeelings are delicate, yet possess full-bodied flavor and bouquet, with a muscatel flavor, dark amber color and pleasant aftertaste.
